• Hembygdsgården
”Hembygsgården” is an old croft that was given from it’s owner to the home district of the owner.

Here the annual Midsummer Day celebration is held. You can try your luck in dart, buy some coffee and of course dance round our traditional pole!

During the warmer part of the year you can stay at Hembygdsgården over the night and then hopefully get to know our ghosts...

Bruksgården
In”Bruksgården” we have a number of activities year-round.

During the summer our we have our popular waffle-cafe and during the winter you can come to "The Saturday-cafe"!

Sometimes the local householders' association "byalagets" meeting takes place here.

• The Church
The church in Skillingmark is located in the centre of Skillingsfors since the end of the 17th century. Not just Sunday sermon, baptism, confirmation and weddings take place here, Skillingmark's own independent school have it's breaking-up and the Lucia-celebration in the church.

• Fishing
We have a lot of activities to offer in Skillingmark. The fishing is one of our annual activities.

Summertime we have to bigger fishing-competitions by Långtjärnet and by Askesjön.

By Långtjärnet it is angle rod that applies. Biggest salmon in women-, man- and children group wins! The rest of the summer you can use your casting rod if you like!

Do you prefer fishing by boat the competition on Askesjön is suitable.

In the beginning of every year you can take part in the jig competition, that takes place by Asketjärnet.

Fishing license you can buy at ’Anima Jakt & Fiske’ and ’Näsbacka Bigård’
(‘Anima Hunting & Fishing’ and ‘Näsbacka Bee Keeping’)

• Hunting
Are you interested in hunting, you have the possibility to take part in the elk hunting in October.

Of course you have to have hunt-licenses if you want to bring down an elk!

• Shooting
The big leisure pursuit in Skillingmark is to shoot. Our shooting-association "Skillingmarks Skyttegille" was started in 1864 and is still going on with about 150 members.

Here we have three different shooting-courses so if you like shooting we hope you enjoy our shooting-courses!

Public Baths and Camping Ground's
Bönäset camping, here both the ones with caravan and the ones that want to hire a cabin have possibility to live during the summer. Not far away from the water (Askesjön) and access to WC, kiosk and changing room. About one kilometre to grocery store.

During the summer the swimming school is to be hold at Bönäset camping

We have many bath place’s here for example Askesjön and Björkelången.

Canoe
Do you want to go out on the lake but not have a boat? Try paddle a canoe!
Take a trip along the lakes and enjoy the nature! When you get hungry or just want an ice cream or something to drink, you can always take a pause by the waffle-cafe!

Bryelsegrottan
Those who are interested in seeing more of the nature during the snowy time of the year can take a walk to our "cave" 'Bryelsegrottan'. After a little walk up in to the forest you will find this beautiful cave. Here you can see how beautiful the nature makes its own! Take some coffee with and admire the nature's own ice creations!

• Fågelåsen
For those who are interested in taking a nice walk in the forest, a walk to "Fågelåsen" is perfect! "Fågelåsen" is a watchtower on one of the highest places in Skillingmark 323 meters above sea level. Don't you want to go alone; you can walk together with other people on the day of "Fågelåsen" the first Saturday in September. After the walk to the tower you we take a pause, take something to eat and (if you dare) enjoy the view from the tower!
